00:0000:00

With the holidays upon us, Cousin Tom and John the Fleshwound pass along their last minutes gift ideas. They know who's been naughty and who's been nice, but it really doesn't matter to them. This year they give the gift of laughter, so with some help from Santa and his elves they try to spread enough holiday cheer to get you though spending the holidays with your relatives. Tom Zenk has passed away at the age of 59, and fans will remember him from his time in WWF as part of the CanAm Connection with Rick Martel and later in WCW tagging with Brian Pillman. We had the pleasure of interviewing him in late 2000 and he was one of our best  interviews we had on the show because no topic was off limits. Tom was brutally honest during this shoot interview, but it gives you an idea of the type of person he was and his thoughts on the business. Tom Zenk talked about how he got started and then he discussed his dealings with a lot of the main players in wrestling during his career. Enjoy this look back at The Z-man, Tom Zenk.

This week we date ourselves and talk about the WWF TV program Saturday Night Main Event. This program ran from 1985 to 1992 on NBC and was the show to watch in the 80's if you wanted to see the stars of the World Wrestling Federation. At the time this was the WWF's version of RAW and Smackdown during the 80's because of the large amount of people that would watch. Cousin Tom and Myself talk about or favorite matches from the show and the impact they had on major storylines during that time. Plus I have to give Tom credit for calling something that happened last week so I let him bask in the glory.

The Honky Tonk Man - UTRR033

00:0000:00

This week we open up the Under the Ring Report vault and bring back our interview from 1999 with the Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, The Honky Tonk Man. You'll find out why he lost his title to the Ulitmate Warrior so quickly and his thoughts on the Warrior as a wrestler. What he felt was the biggest difference between the Rock and Wrestling Era and the Attitude Era. Plus his thoughs on Vince Russo and Eric Bishoff and his time in WCW and his last run in the WWF. He also talks about how he'd like fans to remember him after he hangs up the tights. Don't miss this flashback interview.
